The Titanic Councillor was speaking following an incident that took place yesterday (Sunday) at around 10:50 pm in the Epworth Street area of East Belfast.
"I utterly condemn this appalling act, which could have easily resulted in the death of the three people inside the property,” said Cllr Bell.
“I can only imagine the terror they went through. There is absolutely no justification whatsoever for this attack. It's senseless acts of violence such as this that have no place in our society and do nothing except create fear and bring misery for our local community.
“If anyone has any information on this, I would urge them to contact the PSNI immediately.”
